Do you know anyone that's retired on their savings? What do they spend their time doing now? Do they have any mental decline? Are they able to enjoy life?
>>84751159No, but I know people who could afford to do that. They're just brainwashed wagies and don't want to retire because they have no hobbies to fill their time with.I am going towards that and will probably retire around 40-45. I plan to keep myself sharp with exercise, vidya and various hobbies. I didn't have a job until 27 and I miss that kind of life. I hate wasting 10h a day commuting and doing shit I'd rather not be doing.
>>84751159With my current salary at 25 I should be able to retire by 45 and thats not even factoring in investments. I make around 15k a month after deductions and will soon make around 20k. I will probably spend my time traveling the world with family and doing any hobby I want. What was interesting when I was an RN I asked my coworkers on my unit what they would do if they won the powerball. Every single one of them said very mundane boring things and every single one said they would continue working. I wish I had that sort of excitement for work honestly it would make life easier. I like my job but I dont want to die doing it.
I have zero savings and plan to watch the world implode as it is doing now.
>>84751159I was *retired* for the last year. My mental health was shit before and after. Lmao
>>84751389I make around 16k a month. Lmao

>>84751159traveling is fun, especially after your kids have grown up a little.
