Spent like 40 minutes in FL studio today. Learned a few things. Call and response, tension and release. Not sure if I fully understand tension and release but I'll get it eventually the more I produce Call and response was pretty simple though. I literally get drained learning all this shit. Not in a bad way though. I'm just super focused and dialed in that it drains me.Also made a melody. Shit sounded pretty good. Can't wait to see where I'm at on day 30 or 90

Music theory can help you understand why your music that you made with your good ear sounds good, and can take your music to another level maybe, but it's not required.
