is it wrong to try to hope to get lucky and hope to find a bf who looks a very specific way based on your old oneitis? i always liked him but he's a degenerate and also travels for work basically. i realized i would be too insecure for that and i'd constantly be afraid that i'd get cheated on, so i never tried to get close to him and have tried to give up on liking him since.

i think i didn't have any sort of "type" before, but now i do, and i realize it's very specific. the kinds of clothes one wears for example.

Just don't tell anyone. How would they know? Every guy I ever talked to looks just like a cartoon character I had a crush on as a kid. Its the only type of guy I'm attracted to. But they don't ever notice if you don't tell them.

If you are afraid he will cheat on you he is out of your league, date your looksmatch and this wouldn't be a problem.

No, it wasn't really a cartoon character, exactly. It was a book/audiobook series I was really into. But there were cartoon illustrations of it. It was called Die Drei ???, it was about these three detective kids, and I somehow convinced myself I would marry the third detective, Bob Andrews one day.

He looks like Shaggy if he never found out about weed.

Yeah, now that u say it...but something about him spoke to me as a kid, and I never moved on

i don't think he's le chad, i've known more objectively handsome men but i haven't been interested. i've been interested in two people my whole life, and this old oneitis is one of them. i think i tend to get obsessed like this when it's someone i want to be like (in everything except looks/gender bc i don't want to be a man obviously), and then that turns into intense attraction at some point.
