My friends keep telling me to get on Hinge, cause its an easy date or whatever and its what everyone does nowadays, but just the thought of setting up an account and putting pictures of myself online for strangers to like or not, seems like a total humiliation ritual.Isn't it essentially just like pimping yourself out, hoping somebody bites?Idk, feels kinda desperate. Is it really the only way?
they work in theory, Hinge is also probably the best one. A lot of people on dating apps are just shallow, bots, or have a million other guys that they could talk to instead of you.
>>84753352It never worked for me OP, so i cant recommend it. Personally it felt like AFK farming then as an active humiliation ritual. Since you can just skimp through when you get likes.
>>84753633>shallow, botsAs someone with very little relationship experience, I'd probably kms if I ended up matching with someone who isn't serious abt it.One reason more not to touch that shit. >Personally it felt like AFK farming then as an active humiliation ritualYeah, but just imagine a bunch of people scrolling through your profile either thinking, "Meh, guess I'd hit" or "ew, wtf". Even if you don't know, just the thought of it is awful
>>84754019>just imagine a bunch of people scrolling through your profile either thinking, "Meh, guess I'd hit" or "ew, wtf".I guess it kinda sucks, but youd do the same to some fat hogs or single moms youd see there so why even feel bad about it? Either way i dont think its gonna work for you unless your a women. These dating apps are brutal for zero reason. I tried them as last ditch effort and still nothing.
>>84754019I would personally say try it because the chances you get a date are not zero, plus like the guy above me said you're doing the same thing to other people.
