Data is sacred. Even with hyperinflation and the push from the top to make hardware unaffordable at the consumer level were talking pennies per gigabyte. The internet is so fragile now with dead links and decaying sites you should be compulsively hoarding everything you think is good. How many times have you seen books, roms, or porn get taken down never to return? Entire websites, forum archives and even online games lost forever. We are rapidly approaching a second dark age. We need monks and beacons of light to rebuild should there be anything after this dark age.
