If you've ever been worried about your gut during daily life, especially going on dates, I have some advice

Look into fodmaps and compare them to ingredients/foods that cause you bloating or stomach issues. There are increasing foods that are certified as low fodmap to help you.

Sometimes you can tolerate higher fodmap foods if you treat them by soaking or boiling and rinsing them repeatedly to lower the fodmap content.

Most people who think they are sensitive to gluten are actually reacting to fructans.

You can test this by seeing how you react to onions, garlic, inulin, and other things high in fructans. Or, conversely, you can see how you react to things like low fodmaps keto breads or seitan, which may contain gluten but are lower in fructans.

Anyway this is just to help out some anons. IBS/gut issues can make a lot of things harder.

Feel free to share experience/tips/etc., and I may add to the thread with tips as the day goes on to increase visibility

You should consider taking certain supplements that fix up your gut bacteria so this doesn't happen. I take NAC and it helped with this.

Suggestion:

Jovial brown rice pasta. Trust.

It's gluten free, low fodmap, whole grain, and holds up much better than other gluten free pastas.

It's kind of a premium brand so buy it in bulk on sales when you can.

I'm OP and to be fair I haven't tried that specific one I think. Probiotic supplements can be high risk though because they can give you diarrhea depending.

As in I'm not >>84753884, but I'm responding as OP.

Idk the side effects with that particular one but I may try it. I'll take a look at the pricing and side effects.

How long has it been? Do you have to keep taking it?

I'm a fartfag and I don't even know which food causes it. Because I don't have a fartmeter and I don't remember what I ate when and how do I know whether it was this food or that food? It's hard to analyze. Also I have burping, so I think fodmap won't even help. For example sugar is fodmap ok, because sugar is processed already in small intestine and fodmap diet only heals the lower parts. But burping is a trouble in the upper parts. The gut is incomprehensible and the effects of food are unalayzable. And even if I found everything, where will I find the will to just exclude all the tasty food?
