Every girl I've dated has praised me for my emotional intelligence and ability to communicate my feelings, but 90+% of the girls I talk to who I haven't dated ask if I have autism and imply I'm incapable of understanding human emotion.

>>84754547probably cause its easier to see if someone is truly emotionally intelligent and skilled at communication if youre very close with them. if you havent had long serious talks with your female friends they probably perceive awkwardness as a lack of emotional intelligencea lot of people on some form of the spectrum have limited emotional range but are very good at problem solving and recognising emotional distress and tension as a survival mechanism. but things like social rules will not always seem simple to understand to them maybe you just subconsciously feel uncomfortable being deep about your feelings to people youre not extremely close to?
