It's cause people don't like you back. Simple really. You expect to be treated fairly and based on whatever merits you think you have and instead you get singled out based on the fact that we can smell fear and and see your desperation. So you isolate to protect yourself from the onslaught and get even more stunted and never mature, thus your genes have no chance to carry on. It is what it is.
