What's /r9k/'s thoughts on the prohibition?
I LOVE BEERDaughter called me this morning.. DECLINESorry honey, drinking!
>>84757553It was based. I wish they would've kept alcohol banned so I could be a moonshiner. Imagine just living in the woods making whiskey. No normies. https://youtu.be/mRlojcKZUsM?si=2PIgCdFGA_-7NkN0
>>84757683You can still do that though and it would still be illegal. A lot of hicks would probably buy it too
>>84757553The feminization of politics can be best understood by prohibition, and women voters can be best understood by that one placard they raised saying "lips that touch alcohol shall not touch ours." You can capture them with literally any promise or reasoning because they don't keep promises or reason for themselves.
>>84757553A terrible idea that was never going to work. As long as people have access to fermentable sugars, someone is going to be making alcohol, along with all the consequences of creating a new black market. That said, I would be in favor of banning alcohol advertising, that shit doesn't need to be pushed everywhere.
>>84757553Alcohol is a terrible drug.Literally poison. Why people needed it so bad...I'm unsure.Look how Zoomers and Alphas don't drink at all. Aging Millennials neither.Alcohol is a defense mechanism for insecure adults who don't know how to interact properly with each other.
If society and the government were about getting rid of all degeneracy to elevate and advance humanity there'd be prohibition on a lot of things including alcohol. Instead it's used to ban thought crimes, free trade, prostitution, free speech, anonymity, to censor websites, restrict the internet and get rid of liberty in general and all sorts of good and healthy things that would benefit society. It's also used to promote vices and lies. That's why i don't believe in government as a concept anymore. It always gets corrupted and misused.
Just gonna say there are plenty of retarded local alcohol laws still in place. Imagine not living in a place with lax booze laws
I gave up the liquid jew years ago and I feel better and stronger than ever. That's my personal experience with it.
>>84760363I hate how they card you for non alcoholic beer, also how a lot of places in rural areas wont sell alcohol until after noon. I get up at 5am!
>>84757553>What's /r9k/'s thoughts on the prohibition?Extremely ineffective policy. Created far more trouble than it solved. It's really good at filtering out weird Christfags and political extremists who think "ban thing I don't like = society is healed!"
