Why do people call me autistic, when I myself do not see myself this way? Is there something about me that only other people can see?

Anon, would a blind man know he was blind, if no one told him?
>>84758467It's different because an autistic person would be able to know they're autistic because they can see the symptoms. For example, I have very few symptoms of autism
Describe who you are as a person if you want. How do you see yourself and what is your personality like?
>>84758488I see myself differently at different times. Sometimes I see myself as a chill person and then other times cynical and all sorts of different types of people and it makes me sad when I realise that I thought myself as a different person before because they don't fit together. I don't have a fixed goal through life, sometimes I will start to think that I should do something for my future and then get over myself after a certain amount of time because I realise it's undoable, impractical, or realistic. My goal right now is to study Japanese with the massive amount of free time I will have in the upcoming months. My broader goal is to not live in a dirty house and to live alone. Another personal goal of mine is to stop consuming the amount of sugar per day that I am currently doing

It's the most rewarding thing for a person, because it makes you feel a sense of strong identity as a "good, useful" person. But you're fine mate.
>>84758045You define yourself by your intentions.Others define you by their perceptions. Both are true simultaneously.
>>84758045You just want to be told you have autism to excuse yourself from your failings socially when in reality youre just dumb and inexperienced.Autism is the most misdiagnosed mental problem in the civilized world right now. This is due to kids being raised in a poor environment where their critical social skills are not fully developed. Online socialization is not good practice for the real world, yet these days thats all some kids have.In order to ignore the problem, society just scapegoats autism. This is what is happening to you
