it's just that shaving foidle comic where the girl spends all her time shaving and then feels proud of her body when she gets to show it off. just basic butterfly logic. everything is endlessly deferred until some promise land of a final stability where everyone involved has the perfect life, so of course the relationship will be perfect. obviously this comes with oodles of self worth/entitlement and implied status shields that make sex obsolete because once you've self actualized you have most like defeated the buddhism final boss. there's also the constant social ladder climb where your partner is basically a parlor trick that you bring up to tell people you have a better life then they could ever hope to have. a lot of women get taken early so i don't think it's fair to say that for all of them, divorces aside. a lot of this affects me personally too as a millennial because the modern workplace can't fathom someone not just onestopping the job for the next best thing, so if i'm ever a good fucking candidate i will get passed over because of some unassumed non existent overambition+disconnection from the shit job i'm supposed to actually be doing, which most likely given my career path is a completely bullshit easy pass job because of the type of person that works there and the nature of the low level work. so obviously all the low level work needs to go to to some random person who is thought to be a better fit because the job TITLE is fancy but the work is something a high schooler can do. and why even entertain offering this cognitive hazard a quality job? i said it years ago, the job search is more humiliating than the pussy hunt. and that came to collect hard in current year. you know what would be a GREAT idea? if we let this person with a degree take a job from a bunch of tradies, because of the degree is more in line with are cool actor restaurant than som or hopeful youngster who just wants to cook. salad days bro! fuck instagram
