Today, I learned that menstrual cramps aren't actually intolerably painful. Apparently, period cramps are only bad enough to be about a 4 on the pain scale in extreme circumstances for healthy women. So most women will just go "well, that sucks" when it happens to them and go about their day normally.The reason we're fed the lie that periods are unbearably painful, and us men should feel ashamed for not having them or whatever is because of obese women. The reason periods are so bad for them specifically is that they treat their bodies like crap so their bodies need to work harder when it happens, causing more pain. So they get on their high horses and complain to us about how hard they have it when it's entirely their fault! It's crazy how even if you're aware of this stuff, there are still lies you can fall for by having them be treated as fact so often.
