The revelation that the Father and the Son are one will come in time to every mind. Yet is that time determined by the mind itself, not taught. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/564#2:8-9 | W-158.2:8-9)
Not sure what OP is on about but I was thinking about the Oedipal complex and how in a handful of mammal species it's pretty common for the father to kill the son as a way of eliminating potential rivals (see e.g., polar bears, hippos). The Oedipal complex is portrayed as some psychological issue the son has, IMO, it's just pretty sensible threat assessment - Mommy loves me, Daddy hates me and wants to kill me, I want to be around Mommy as much as possible because she's the one who feeds me and makes me big and strong. One of the things patriarchy does (among many) is it lets the father identify with the son - my son is my progeny, he is my continuation, my heir, etc. I think feminist society got really upset about this (what about daughters) but this ends creating a weird Electra complex thing where in the absence of de jure patriarchy, fathers have to "buy" influence in their daughters (e.g., paying for their college, lifestyles of comfort, etc.) in order to preserve their relationship with them. But that's a mistake, because fathers SHOULD just be given lawful ownership of their daughters, so they can select a good husband for them, and their resources should be reserved for their sons, who are going to have to contest other men for resources in the Big Wide World Out There. This is one mechanism among many that has caused the destruction of the West post-feminism.
