He has been listening to Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate and Myron Gaines daily, with the effect being that he is now both a misogynist and an antisemite who thinks that Jews are murdering Christian children. I mention the latter part because I am myself half-Jewish, and had been trying to persuade him to convert before all of this came out.Looking back, the warning signs were visible at the start of our marriage. My hubby would steam Joe Rogan in the living room loudly, screaming along with the misogynist talking points. This often led to my extreme embarrassment, as he'd do it even when I had my girlfriends over, thereby ruining the atmosphere. When I politely asked him to play his misogynistic content in the mancave on girl's night so me and the girls could enjoy the living room in peace, he'd brush me off, saying things like "why don't you go to the pussy cave?" That was a major red flag in hindsight, but I justified it on the grounds of "well, boys will be boys."Big mistake. As the months and years passed, Hubby's scrote-tier behavior escalated, to the point where he'd go out wearing wife beaters or Brazzers t-shirts in public. When I'd politely whisper at him that this was embarrassing me, he'd berate me at full volume in front of the whole grocery store.1/2
