Learned about removing elements of a song, and how that creates some kind of contrast in the song. Removing and adding back an element is a good way to add spice to your song without really adding anything new. This song I've been making for the past 5 days is so horrible, God awful, worse than a blind person playing piano, but it's only day 5. And I created a shitty little breakdown in the song and a nice little fake ending by removing the kick.I keep looking at these producers like jonas blue or Sam feldt and the music they make gets like 100million streams. It's insane. And I want to make that kind of dance pop. If I can just get good enough to make songs like "Polaroid" or "Hold me close", I can get 100m streams too. Let's fooking go

Keep it up. Don't aim for 100M plays like those fags with jewish connections you mentioned, rather aim for impressing optimistic teen girls so they will give you blowjobs. Btw, you need to sidechain your bass and kick together - dont cheat with a pump plugin, use a compressor as a learning experience.

I learn like one or two things at a time and haven't got to sidechaining yet. I know it makes the song pump or something but that's it, eventually it'll make sense. Thanks btw. Also getting my dick sucked by a 18yo while I'm producing would be peak
