The reason why I asked this question anons is because I have a coworker who started crying because she remembered that today was the anniversary of her father's death. I hugged her and she went to the bathroom to clean herself up. Did I do the right thing? I just met this lady today so we're just getting to know each other.

I was listening to the "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" medley and I started crying to Carry That Weight. It always gets tears out of me because it reminds me of how I can't shake the trauma of being molested as a kid.
