Why is suicide seen as something to be prevented at all costs?Death is an inevitability, whether you're drowning in your own tears or the happiest person alive, you'll die eventually, so if someone doesn't enjoy life and consistently hasn't enjoyed it for years, why prevent them from skipping to the good bit?The only reason I'm alive is because suicide is a giant hassle to go through with, and fucking it up has consequences ranging from existing being kinda awkward for some time to being locked away and force-fed medication against your will.It's not that mental health resources are bad, I just think you should be able to opt out.
