So last week I proposed to my gf of 3 years (she said yes). When talking to her about it this morning, she said she still wants to keep her ex-husband's last name. Am I being cucked?

>"It's easier for me"
>"I don't have to change all my paperwork and tell all my friends/coworkers"
>"My parents like it more [because it's a European last name]"
Lot of bullshit like that. Infinite excuses. I would have never proposed if I knew she wouldn't take my name. And now I'm scared that if I call it off, everyone will call me a monster

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: Yes, and if you have any self-respect and dignity as a man you should NOT accept this. You might think it doesn't matter as long as you're together but that's not the truth. Even when a woman keeps her own name and the name takes hers, it's a sign of weakness and lack of masculinity. This is just as bad, if not worse. That other one is just her being a standard feminist bitch, this situation of yours is.... more troubling. Definitely some deeper feelings she got buried there and she doesn't view you as the true, only man in her heart.
Not trying to be cynical or mean but I can't see it any other way.

Honestly, one thing is wanting her own last name, but her ex husban??? This is a massive red alarm and you need to talk to her. A marrige that starts out like that is likely not a marrige thats gonna last or that you'd wanna be in.

Seems like she never wanted to divorce her last husband and still wants him. Why did they divorce?

Additionally, it would be easier to get away with cheating if she doesnt have anything suggesting shes married. She can just take her ring off, and her last name isnt even yours.

If she doesn't have kids, yeah.
Maybe try and communicate that "it's stupid" but it feels kind of humiliating to you. That you're not controlling, but you'd wish you didn't have that shadow hanging over it. That you're hers and she is yours. That's the only thing you'd ask.
If that doesn't work, it sucks. But I wouldn't go through with it, either.

So this morning I opened up my homeboard of 23 years (it still sucks). When lurking the catalog this morning, I read a bait post. Am I being cucked?
>>
actually just kill her and then yourself at this point
>>
>>84803400
Yeah you're fucking cucked. Even if she takes your name and asks for forgiveness at this point (the bare minimum she should do to not be killed) then you're still cucked for the fact she even thought of this
>>
>Am I being cucked?
Yes. Call it off.
And get the fuck off my board, normcunt.

>>"My parents like it more [because it's a European last name]"
Ah, slightly subtle bait. Let's see where he's going with this.
>>
>>84803498
>My parents like it more because it's a European last name
Nah I bet she does and it's an excuse. Brown women are fucking disgusting. Same for Asians
>>
>>84803400
none of this happened, fuck off with your cuck fantasies
