Are you a baby? I don't know much about Catholics other than they worship and pray to Mary and that Catholics are baptized when they are babies.

Idk I'm conflicted about the physical act of baptism. We're all sinners and I feel like sinning after a ritual like that would make the sin carry more weight. Salvation through acts or through faith idk

Baptism was a ritual cleansing that was supposed to be done regularly, not just once, as a way to clean yourself from the impurities of the sins you had committed, and could then try to be better and better.

Whenever I talk to Catholics it's always "church history" this or "church father" that. Where is the word of God in all of this? Oh that's right, being ignored so you can bow down to an icon of Mary and call her queen of the universe and bringer of our salvation. Maybe at best some of them will take vague verses out of context to say "veneration" is okay even when Jesus explicitly tells off someone who tries to worship His mother over God.
