no such thing as a general intellectual, you need to pick a field and study hard. they all converge at some point, that's when you start getting something out of adjacent disciplines. But you have to get really far in your field first

>>84830114Have an IQ over 120. Having an autistic special interest in an intellectual subject also helps. Pick either STEM or humanities and stick with it. Go to university until you get your PHD. This isn't just for the education because if you were autistic enough to become a genius, you'd figure out everything you learn at university anyway. Instead this will help you find a niche to hyper-specialize in and will expose you to other autists who are interested in researching what you're researching. Study stuff outside of class too because university barely scratches the surface of most subjects and sometimes presents a biased or distorted view on certain topics. Then become a professor or go work for an aerospace military contractor company.
