I learned the hard way that being a good person is going to cost you
>>84831239Satan is the ruler of this world and he rewards evil people materially and all it costs is your soul.
>>84831249What does he do with my soul? Does he just collect them or does he absorb them to become more powerful?
>>84831249Shit man I suspect this but I hope it's not true.
either way costs you. it is better to do good and potentially have a positive effect than it is to do bad and always have a negative one.
>>84831239How much? All I got is bout tree fiddy.
>>84831255I don't know and also don't know what his problem is. >>84831259I unironically believe it's true.
>Having good morals is a luxury Grim
>>84831239>motherfuckers who refuse to pirate anything
>>84831239Only strength matters and you should do everything in your power to shape the world into your liking without the slightest bit of guilt or shame. There is no one to catch you
>>84831239how bro was feeling after this revelation
>>84831239Being a good person will only cost you if you're weak or unjust and people take advantage of you.If, however, you count morally good acts like helping other people who need it as a cost, you're not actually a good person.
>>84831424>luxuryNot really, but be prepared to suffer or die young or be a buddha/jesus if you want to be so moral.>>84831249If he was so great he wouldn't stoop to asking his minions to deceive someone into selling their soul. Which by the way isn't a legit way to get a soul and that soul should be returned. >>84831239Define "good person"... having a pleasant disposition with everyone? Or obvious things like not killing innocents or stealing tons or graping? Or niche "good person" like in Christianity or Islam where you aren't supposed to do those big obvious sins but also be so good that you never complain, don't have any vices, never listen to music, etc. It seems to me that some certain kinds of 3rd world mentality people think any pleasantness or kindness is weakness and vulnerability and stupidity, and go after you for it. It wouldn't be an issue if these mentality people were forced to stay in their 3rd world holes. It doesn't matter how rich or poor they even are, if people have a 3rd world mentality they will screw over good people.
>>84831255Maybe chucks it into stuff like a roomba. >>84831491Exactly the mindset he wants you to have so he can relish in punishing you later.>>84831518>will only cost you if you're weak or unjust and people take advantage of youIt's easy to be a good person when you're isolated and protected from evil and taught the rules early in life and have the resources to not do stuff like steal food and meds to survive. >but what about charities and stuffI don't trust them in this kind of world, there's always a hidden price with these kinds of people.
>>84831424Except the worlds richest most powerful people have absolutely 0 morals. So morals are obviously beholden to something else
>>84831551>steal food and meds to surviveThat's not immoral though. Having people (or corporations) who enjoy excess beyond their merit while others have to steal to survive is a failure of governance, not individuals.
>>84831628Of course anyone with basic empathy would understand it's not immoral to steal an apple if there's no other choices like church charity kitchen, no one likes to starve to death. According to some religions it is immoral, like in olden days they used to cut the hand off thieves. Some of their texts also said that it was ok to own slaves and to beat their wives so idk how seriously we should take those parts, since in modern day first worlds people are empathetic enough to not want to cut off thieves hands or enslave people or beat their wives bloody. If you don't live in a "could die at 30 via tooth infection" world then you value life more I think.
