Japan is the only nation in the world where you will get more hate for pirating a game than being a pedophile
Twitter users are not a good representation of any country.
>>84834173Piracy is actually real. The other is a made up feminist concept.
>>84834173Maybe we shouldn't give a fuck what Japanese think since they are prone to committing atrocious war crimes when they are in power full positions
>>84834173their companies try to provide good service, apologizing for raising prises, ensuring every product meets health and visual standards, training employees to be ultra providing, so to them stealing doesnt make sense, while to us, our companies will reach straight into our pockets and squeeze our dicks for any hidden change
>>84834173russia is the only nation in the world where you will get no hate for being either
>>84834173>Why don`t they sell the game outside of the country.>Why are the hardware more than 11 years old incompatibleand the life cycle of the software is over.An argument.
they have some super autistic culture of supporting devs of absolute shit products i assume?
>>84834173He's just embracing the capitalist spirit. Lost profits > liking kids.
>>84834173gatekeeping culture, entertainment and knowledge is stupid as fuck. Japs live some weird honor system that has fucked them over to the point they arent even fucking one another.Pirate everything. If you like the product pay for it later. Corpos will survive.
>>84835251the wild west is coming to an end my friend
>>84834173Japan is so pretentious and autistic, i'm sick of seeing people reposting everything about those bugs
>>84835283nah. Normies have been ruining it faster for everyone but piracy is still easy and the king for everything
>>84835304there is nothing worth pirating everything sucks now
>>84834173Easy for them to take the high road when they have easy access and we don't.
remember when Japan DIDN'T licence anime/indie games/VNs etc BECAUSE they thought (knew) we were all pirates?i dunno what sense that makes. fans will translate your cartoons and games, for free. companies want to cut deals. it wasn't until Crunchyroll, JAST/MangaGamer (and i guess now Steam) came along, you could e.g. legally watch most anime or buy the Touhou games without flying over to Japan.like the 'principle' of not dealing with us gaijin was more important than ez money. although fuck the companies who did eventually capitalize on it.
>>84834173What do you mean? The west has the same stuff, child pageants, dance moms etc, but since everyone tends to be tribalist, they look down their nose at other countries ignoring their owns flaws.
>>84835327>there is nothing worth pirating everything sucks nowI'd pirate old games?
>>84835473Nintendo have created a new meta in the 'abandonware'/'one backup copy' grey area non-debate by going after TOOLS that COULD run old games.weird times we live in. devs used to open source games and outright say, 'yeah we aren't selling that any more, here, we'll even host it on our website.'for me it's the fact consoles and PC hardware are prohibitively expensive. games aren't released finished and they don't target current hardware, but some future system (or they'll get remastered/updated anyway).it's just better to play /vr/ games that are certain are done. they'll run well or fans will fix them up, it's a complete package, you can find them for free (or cheap if you're against piracy).
>>84835167When buying anime they sell 2 episodes blu-ray boxes at a time, each time costing 80 dollars. A 13 episode anime box-set in Japan costs 500 dollars.
>>84834202This. Twatter isn't real life. People just say inflammatory bullshit to engagement farm and rarely is anyone sincere about anything ever on that site.
>>84834880Depends on the kind of pedo. They REALLY hate gay pedos over there from what I head.
The Japanese are pretentious fucks but ultimately they built a society that works for them, where it makes sense for them to be pretentious
>>84834173No video game is worth pirating. If it isn't worth it's asking sale price then it's not worth my time either. Why would I waste my life on a game I don't even want to pay for? I have better things to do.
>>84834173that person got paid for the post so it means very little. he should have made that statement on a platform that does not monetize engagement so it's an authentic expression. This just looks like standard Japanese artist engagement bait.
