>Future has robots, machines and cyborgs>humans still work jobswhy is every sci fi movie like this where future has all these amazing tech but society seems to be stagnant where people still work, go to school and are like living in 2000s nyc but with 2100 tech
>>84845107people have a sense purpose from working so creating a movie where nobody works might give the viewer a sense of aimlessnessor so I speculateXDXDXDxd
>>84845121I dread work do any anons have a job they actually like going to?
>>84845133I would imagine it would be those that feel they serve a pupose greator then themselvesI doubt it has to be a high level job like doctors or judgesI bet even a service worker like mcdonalds or janitor could feel this is they just allowed themselvesthey provide a service needed by everyone. Even if they feel invisible their service is valuable and required beyond any doubt .
If society didn't serve humans it would have no point even free society is about giving humans freedom.
>>84845121>>84845133Real high brow conversation here.
I have no clue what humans would do with their time if they didn't work or weren't intelligent. I suppose you could be a protagonist and build cool shit in your garage, but again that requires intelligence. In a society where technology is advanced people have fell into the dystopian trap and let it control them, therefore they don't want anything more. Exactly what the government wants; distraction.
>>84845353yeah idk what future where AI is dominant would look like?would few jobs left be status positions like governor, president and general? but AI could be a better statesman, general and politician
