The fastest way for me to lose weight would be for me to simply eat nothing so why does everyone say not to do that?

You'll just get skinny fat.

Fastest way for you to lose weight is an amputation
>>
Why are you such a fat lazy faggot that going to the G Y M is impossible to even think about? Why
>>
>>84906415
It's called fasting and many people do it.

Starving yourself fails for weight loss, because it triggers physiological survival mechanisms that work against your goal.
When you severely restrict calories, your body enters a protective state often called "starvation mode," where it slows down your metabolism to conserve energy. This reduction in metabolic rate means you burn fewer calories at rest, making it significantly harder to continue losing weight over time.
Extreme calorie restriction disrupts hunger hormones, causing increased hunger and decreased satiety. This hormonal shift makes you feel intensely hungry and less satisfied when you do eat, often leading to binge eating or overeating once normal eating resumes. Consequently, most people regain the lost weight, and often more, because their bodies are now primed to store fat more efficiently to prepare for potential future famine.
Eating healthily and working out avoids these problems.

Starvation mode is a complete myth. There is no evidence it exists at all
>>
>>84907049
"Starvation mode," as in metabolic adaptation (or adaptive thermogenesis) is a real physiological response to caloric restriction.
Clinical evidence shows a severe calorie deficit forces the body to conserve energy by slowing the metabolism, altering hormone levels, and triggering physical and psychological symptoms.
There is a reason it doesn't work for a lot of people, as I described in the post you're responding to.
You can research it yourself, it's a real thing.

>why does everyone say not to do that?
Because they want to sabotage your success.
Fasting is by far the best way to lose weight. A 24-48HR fast every week you're in a significant caloric deficit. Most people can't go that long because their body starts reacting with withdrawal symptoms from the jewish posion in their food.

It also requires actually starving, you reddit shitwit. You don't enter "fuck I'm actually dying..." mode because you didn't get your tendies for 24 hours.
>>
>>84906415
fastest way to lose weight is to shoot yourself in the head and letting your body decompose unironically

What the fuck are you talking about? I am not on either site. Cool it.
You have to prepare your body for fasts. Quit being a twat for no reason. Neither you nor I know what OP is referring to when he says "eat nothing."
Lots of people try to get into fasting and it fails for the reasons I listed.
>>
I have started doing intermittent fasting again, 18-19 hours every day. Turns out the last time I did this, I probably wasn't fasting at all because I was taking fiber supplements. I eat a high protein meal (generally chicken) at 5PM then fast until 12PM the next day. Breakfast is just a black coffee. Wish me luck.

Because fasting causes a lot more stress and suffering than eating less food would. This is especially true if you've only ever eaten garbage "food", which is the case for you and most people alive today. Fast if you can handle it
>>

16 to 24 hour fasts are comically easy. Fasting only gets hard if you are shooting for 36 hours because sleeping while hungry after working for 8 hours and going on a 4 mile run feels bad.

I got an amputation and gained a hundred pounds.
>>
>>84906415
>why does everyone say not to do that?
nobody says that
>>84906471
just eat protein and do some light exercise

OP ignore everyone else and listen to this advice: get some DNP capsules and start taking them regularly. Don't overdo it.

They clearly haven't taken off enough limbs yet. Eventually you won't be able to get to the fridge.

They have no willpower. When a normie stops eating they have a spaz attack and eat a bunch of junkfood. They cannot handling fasting for more than a day which for human beings is not only completely normal, but actually healthy for your body.
