Do you think science is just the magic of our world? Like in an alternate reality all the shit would just be 'magic' instead of technology. It might be nicer
Even the magic in Harry Potter is just sort of like a controllable AI, just swish and flick.
>>84912462Science is just our modern perception of what our distant ancestors referred to as magic. Magic referred to any result that could be recreated but not understood (like I take this part of the plant and stick it into the ground and it grows a new plant somehow) All of these things are real but very heavily misunderstood by schizos who believe in divination nonsenseTldr: science is magic followed to its conclusion
>>84912486I just like to belive there are alternate realities with real magic
>>84912496Based, I like to believe in aliens just bc it's fun
Magic is generally based on the real laws of a setting and universe. Observable facts that can be manipulated and implemented to benefit the lives of magic practitioners and those around them. This is the polar opposite of how science works in this world. Science first comes up with what should be true based on temporary political and moral fashion trends. They then invent things like dark matter to patch up the many, many, many glaring flaws of such a system, and then ban any research on the basis of ethics or funding if there's a chance a new study may cast doubt on the predetermined preverified prevericated scientific explanation.Look at smoking and nicotine, there's no studies showing the health benefits because research is shot down with 2,000mm nuclear autocannons before such a research proposal can even be drafted. Political and moral fashion has determined smoking and nicotine are so obviously wrong and bad for you to valid testing of the idea should be tolerated. It's literally illegal to research the harms of transition therapy for people who believe in genders, you can't even research alternative therapies to transitioning to cure gender delusion. Science is a system to keep people from learning about the world while lending credibility to the oftentimes silly explanations those in charge give us about how the world should work. Unfortunately for us God and nature do not operate on oughts and shoulds. The current institutions are desperate to maintain their power so it's possible the world will never be understood by us.
>>84912462Whatever makes you believe this illusory world, is reality is magic.Whatever makes you believe reality is not this illusory world, is a miracle. That's the difference between magic and miracle.
>>84912462No, magic is a narrative trope that allow authors to be creative, while sometimes science is used to that same effect in books. Magic is more about bending what is real and of grand measure generally.
>>84913594Basically its like the last battle of Harry Potter but with poop, Voldemort and Harry are crawling with ass pointing at each others, Harry is pushing a turd and he tries to get it in Voldemort ass and so does Voldemort, the magician would ignore physics and make the poop channeled like a laser while the scientist would have their ass hard pressed against each others and whoever had the fattest shit reservoir win the fight, but they're shitting on each others ass and its very messy, kinda like 2 girls 1 cup but there is no girls and there is no cup.
>>84913666And i forgot to mention, they shit on each others balls*
