If you're either in places where you're shown these images, or you're actively seeking them out of your own volition, AI wasn't needed to win against you.
If you're genuinely worried about AI, stop using social media. I'm not even saying you're wrong to be worried, I'm saying that rather than drive yourself nuts from paranoia, just don't put yourself in the same place as the potentially toxic substance.
