There are two types of 'I don't care'.The first one is the Nihilistic I don't care, that makes you feel like crap. The second one is the pleasing I don't care, that makes you smile. Both are fucked up, because they are temporary and therefore they don't lead to happiness.
>>84913989A third "I don't care" is the horrific realization that if you had cared, none of your problems would be present today.
>>84914036Are you LE GOAT?
>>84914079How did you deduce my identity
>>84914086You have too much love for the art form.
>>84914106I don't care enough
>>84913989Nihilism has always been cope, a way for your mind to dampen the trauma of failure or rejection. If people were true nihilists, their not caring attitude would encompass food, water, shelter etc. but all these people still crave those things and use them.So their nihilism is just cope that things they couldn't achieve didn't matter, but if they had achieved it you could bet your ass they wouldn't be nihilistic about it
>>84914251nihilism is good
>>84914323It's passive nihilism versus active nihilism. Passive nihilism is not good, as it sabotages your life, but active nihilism allows you to still find personal meaning.
>>84914381For reference, should have included this:Passive nihilism: Life has no meaning, so why bother. The collapse of values becomes an excuse to stop. It's nihilism as paralysis, staying in the pit because the pit at least feels honest.Active nihilism: Life has no inherent meaning, so I get to make it. The same collapse of values becomes raw material. It's nihilism as clearing, burning down what was false to build something real.
I get high. I get sooooo high.
