my mom always interprets me hiding away in my room as laziness and indifference but the truth is im just highly scared of unpredictable neurotic outbursts and general stress inducing mode of being. the only time i ever feel at peace and do something is when she's out of the house. but even then im still on edge because i could be receiving a phone call any second from her
