Guys it's time to ban cars and give our biometric data to the one world government
>>84921701This but unironically and fulloriginallyI want a UN AI construct to run everything, humans are fucking shit up too much
>>84921718Who dp you think *ARE* the humans fucking things up and who do you think will be in charge of the AI?>make biger gubberment tl fix the bad gubbermentThe only problem in the world is jews.
>>84921701first off, >>>/pol/secondly, those 1976 figures are made up. it's getting measurably hotter and everyone knows it.
>>84921766There's plenty of rich non-jews fucking it up too, you're too short sighted just like the rest of the chumpsFuck all humans, fuck all greed, self-programming omniscient nuclear-armed UN AI overlords, or BUST
>>84921701It's just a natural process (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milankovitch_cycles) being accelerated by pollution and industrialization, further being taken out of context for mass-hysteria purposes by the media. The climate isn't some static thing because the Earth's position relative to the Sun isn't static, either. We currenty live in the interglacial period (which is the warm period), and it is projected that it will get warmer in the next several thousand years, before it inevitably starts decreasing and we gradually enter the glacial period. This isn't an on and off switch, either. It is a gradual thing. https://science.nasa.gov/science-research/earth-science/milankovitch-orbital-cycles-and-their-role-in-earths-climate/
>>84921701>ban carsin cities, yes, that's a great idea >>84921840it's the same map twice just with different colors if they searched actual temp measurements from 1976 it'd shatter their world view
It's the sun, it's changing and our planet is changing and we are changing
>>84921927but those cycles are extremely slow the change now are really fast >being accelerated by pollution so you believe in thatthen why shouldn't we try to slow it down to it's standard speed? It's like saying "dude temperature changes are normal, ever heard of summer and winter?? " while instead of taking months between seasons, the temperature outside would switch between -20 and 30c over days
>>84921965Cycles are slow because it is a gradual change between the interglacial and glacial (which are complete opposites). This does not mean the temperature is uniform within these cycles, as I said, even without pollution, you'd have extremely warm periods within the interglacial period. We have been in the interglacial period before the hominids even moved to Europe (if you believe in the out of africa theory). It is estimated that, without any external influence, the Milankovic cycles complete in around 40k years. We are 1/4 through that and it is only getting warmer, when the next cycle will, due to the Earth's position, make the temperature colder (significantly btw, in ~30000 years it will be an inevitable ice age without technological interference)The climate getting warmer will affect the global south more than anyone else. Sure, the temperature in Europe will become higher, but the initial point is relatively low. In South Asia and Africa, the temperature increase will make the situation borderline unlivable. If you believe the out of africa theory like I said above, then this climate change (due to Milankovic cycles) is the reason why groups of hominids left Africa for Europe (even though we now have reason to believe the out of africa theory is incorrect, because of recent findings in China)There are countries that will massively benefit from climate change, and ironically it is usually the most vocal ones: Denmark will significantly benefit from Greenland becoming habitable (although the sea level will nuke a lot of the mainland). Canada will benefit, Russia will immensely benefit (land with a lot of resources that will be very profitable to extract due to future automation tech), Sweden and Finland will benefit.
>>84921965Anyway, in Serbia we learn about this in the 3rd or 4th year of gymnasiums. It's been a while since I've had to read about any of this and I could be wrong about some tiny details, but the point still stands. You cannot escape the climate changing, and most of the pollution is done by people in India, China, Africa and South America. Europeans not using AC won't change anything. But yes, the damaging of the ozone layer is bad, it will increase the temperature. CO2 does increase the temperature. But does that mean we should deindustrialize and stop using ACs? No.
>>84921888>plenty of rich non-jewsYeah it's just a coincidence they're all zionists
>>84921965By the way, you type and sound like a teenager. Almost everyone I encounter that discusses this and is obsessed with pop-politics figures like Greta are no older than 18. I am 21 and used to be like you, but the more you find out about the world, the more you will realize most of what you read in media is just hysteria designed to extract the most attention from you, because your attention leads to shekels. Anyway, the burden is simply not on Europe. It is on India, China and Africa.
>>84921933>ban cars in citiesBrother I'm all for regulation but it's obvious you have a sedentary white collar job
>>84922065Yes, they're usually delusional people, or just simply young people. They want you to walk to work, while people in India and China pollute the world and reproduce enough to offset any "positive changes" made by Europe.
>>84922056>It is on India, China and AfricaIndeed, and they will not stop unless Europe declares war on them. Which will never happen.
>>84922056>i am 21 i am le mature and developed>in Serbia we learn about this in the 3rd or 4th year of gymnasiumsyou can't make this shit up fuck off you were just in high school 2 years ago stop thinking your so smart
>>84922089You sound rather frustrated. I'm not interested in talking to you any further.
>>84922089>youryou're*, ESL-chan
>>84921927this, fuck ruining my own life to save the earth tm when a stupid chink will chink anyway
>>84921701so what you're saying is we have to forcible de-industrialize the third worldwell i've said this for years
>>84922032>does that mean we should deindustrialize and stop using ACs? No.you're looking at it completely wrongYES we should bad the things that make the climate go crazy and creates or accelerates drastic changes The industry won't die, it'll just changeJust like we banned whatever was creating the ozone hole and somehow we still have deodorants and fridges even after paid shills and stupid people at the time cried that we wouldn't be able to come up with new ideas and of we did the new stuff would be too expensive for the average person and so onNowadays it's the same with oil companies pouring billions into climate change denail and so on
>>84921701problem is that we are close to 10C above those stated "max 2026 temps" and summer barely begun...
>>84922372mhaha that's a funny gifSame people are just stupid or baiting
>>84922355No, the industry very well can die and your attempts have severe consequences to industries. If the European industry is heavily regulated, yet the rest of the world's isn't, that makes the European industry highly uncompetitive due to costs associated (both legal and practical). That also makes it very inefficient because of these regulations (from a bureaucratic standpoint). In the UK, getting a legal permit to build something takes significantly longer than the actual construction of said building. These are real issues. Especially non-sense like telling people not to use ACs. Telling people to risk their health, well-being and quality of life to have a minimal positive impact on the climate, while the rest of the world negates that overnight. It is the definition of insanity that is completely detached from any real world risks (including geopolitical). That is why it's usually something only young women like Greta concern themselves with, or one of those onions cucks with feminine features and no real intellect, just a speaker playing whatever was repeated on the television or reddit.
>>84922409you're just close minded and love deepthroat the status quo>telling people not to use ACs.or you just don't understand my point at allThe change is supposed to be forced on the companies to make their products better, not the people to stop using those products
>>84921965If you say those changes are really fast have you tried quantifying it?Like people talk about Green House Gasses. Carbon dioxide. Could you tell me what percentage of the atmosphere was C02 250 years ago before the Industrial Revolution, and what percentage of the atmosphere is C02 today?
>>84922443You are just too young to even understand what you're saying. You cannot force a multi-national company to follow your regulations outside of your borders. If your regulations are unfriendly to those industries, they will simply go somewhere else because that will be more profitable (and this has already happened, although for different reasons too).Even your own companies might simply shut down because your regulations (and other things like sanctions) create an environment in which they cannot compete with foreign companies both globally and domestically, as foreign companies start being able to offer a lower for price for the same product even domestically. And what do you achieve by regulating only your own borders? Absolutely nothing. The industry moves elsewhere, the level of pollution still remains (only slightly lower globally), and the effect on climate is still the same. You do not simply neglect every other consequence and dive for what's ultimately a pointless, inconsequential cause. That can lead to more harm than the initial thing you sought to avoid, which is actually a nothingburger, while the consequences of your delusion end up being a real issue.
>>84922454What is this random gif a reference to?https://science.nasa.gov/resource/graphic-the-relentless-rise-of-carbon-dioxide/https://science.nasa.gov/climate-change/evidence/I'm not gonna make this a lecture, it's not hard to search it up and find various interesting papers and the way they collected the measurements is also very interesting (the one I posted is a nice example of that, ice cores) I also don't wanna argue on the internet amd so something fun for a change because I think it's a waste of time Fossils fuel companies will keep on doing their disinfoming and lobbying, trying to make it seem like anthropogenic climate change is up for debate when it isn't
>>84922546That was a reference to how I look when asking these questions. The resource you provided talks about 200 parts per million or 400 parts per million but it doesn't describe it the way I had in mind like "The atmosphere is 78% Nitrogen, 20.9% Oxygen. It is *% Carbon dioxide which is up from *% it was 300 years ago"
>>84921701The environment does worry me. I don't need temperatures to be rising to care about the damage we do to nature. Islands of rubbish, disruption of ecosystems, extinction of species, massive clouds of polluted air poisoning the lungs of every living being.
>>84922597think of greenhouse gases like black dye in water - smal quantity changes colour dramatically - and doubling it makes bigger change in light absorbed than just fraction of a percent - few drops will make your bucket of water black capturing vastly more heat than clear water - same way as greenhouse gases - they are called that because of effect they have on atmosphere - and are invisible to us as we dont see in infrared but making air "opaque" to heat keeping more inside...
>>84921701>euros suddenly crying about 95 F weatherwhats the big deal niggas? thats been standard ass weather in LA since forever
just turn on the AC-oh wait... oh no... you're telling me Europoors don't have ACs in their homes? OH NO NO NO NO NO NO
>>84922676What if the atmosphere was like a condom, protecting us from the cold of space, space radiation, meteors and everything else. I remember in the 1980s when they passed the Montreal protocol banning CFCs because they were going to cause a hole in the ozone layer. That's bad. But I don't think making the Ozone layer thicker is also bad.
