Dude that talking point hasn't been relevant since at least the 90s. I know no one under 55 that talks like that. We are seeing a huge shift of voters that won't vote either, in upwards of 25% last time that happen the Republican party was created within a decade and shit moved slow back in the mid 1800s.

The Democratic Party is the center right formation clearly displayed by the spineless triumvirate of Schumer-Jeffries-Martin. The purpose of this party is to-in order-spend money, raise money, and get votes. Getting votes is a nice to have, but not a need to have goal. If moneyed interests lose control then the party is no longer fit for purpose.

The voters are an uppity laity to be disciplined. The left flank are a heretical branch to be managed since they are too big to be expelled.
