Yep that's how it starts my boy. The magic pills that make life easy. Just pop them everyday and everything will be hunky dory! For about 3 weeks. And now you're waking up with rebound anxiety and reaching for your pill bottle to calm down. Wait didn't you already take this mornings dose? You can't remember so pop another. There it is, that calm feeling. Everything's easy again. But now you're nearing the end if your script and can't get a refill till next week because you overdid it a couple times. No worries though, the doctor said they're safe. And then you spend the next week sweaty, anxious, craving your magic pills. Your withdrawal wasn't too bad though. Not enough to scare you off. And you've got a plan for next time-> Timmy your old weed dealer has a connect for alprazolam. And hell why not buy weed as well? Sp you take the kpins during the week and xans and weed on a Friday to party it up. Maybe a few drinks? Maybe get barred the fuck out and wrap your car around a tree. Maybe not.You go back to the doc and ask for a dose increase. He labels you a drug seeker and cuts you off. So now you're relying on street xanz to ward off withdrawals. But they're presses and you don't know what's in them. Etizolam? Phenazolam? Fentanyl? Maybe you die in a bus like lil peepThis is how is goes for benzo users. Flush that shit for real bro. Though I was put on as an early teen and was on it nearly a decade. YMMV

benzo addiction is what destroyed Jordan Peterson.hard hitting things like benzos and opioids should only be used short term or for emergencies. Generally klonopin is only prescribed for panic attacks, like an emergency inhaler, you're only meant to take it a couple times a months tops for deeply overwhelming anxiety.I don't "have an addictive personality" either but I wouldn't fuck with benzos long term. Save it for panic attacks or crunch time at work, but you need to spend a good few days between uses to make sure you don't get stuck in an escalating habitual cycle.
