>>84926628socializing seems more attraction based now, people with "magnetism" are much more successful than those who have to make an effort constantly. for example, if you press the "touch grass" people on reddit for answers, thats literally all they do, show up somewhere and eventually make friends with people there, whether that be coffee shops, or hobbies, parks, whatever, if they make the consistent effort to show up, they will make friends. I have tried that and also inserting myself into other people's lives and it just doesnt work, i put in much more effort than other people and have been burned repeatedly for it. some people in life just have it easy, dont beat yourself up over having it rough, its mostly luck.
