Can you imagine any way to recover from being a 4chan-type shut in in your 30's? I wish I could go somewhere like you can if you are on hard drugs

I wouldn't worry about recovering. A lot of suffering is ahead for many in the world, even ones who "did the right thing". So it won't really matter what you do in the end.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Programs for alcoholics, programs for felons, programs for single mothers, but heaven forbid you sat in your room for a while.

There needs to be like work camps for hikkiNEETs where we go to do hard labor without any of our electronic devices or comforts until we get better.
>>
yeah I need help

I don't even need to be fixed, and certainly not with nuclear-strength methods. I'd just like a career fair's worth of companies that go in intentionally expecting to get ex-neets as an act of semi-benevolence, as is commonly made available on a charitable basis to all the other sizeable groups of people who have fucked up their lives to the point of unhireability.

Neets are just a capitalist cope for squeezing too much juice from the lemon.

The deal gets worse and worse each year they are hoping the newest generation just goes along with it anyway.

There are programs, but they're labeled for depression and trauma, not directly for NEETs, but NEETism is often caused by those things.

in japan they have those hikikomori recovery centers, but now there are more NEETs in western countries than they have there and yet there is no help at all.

still you can recover its just very hard. ultimately you need to be psychologically healthy and not having a breakdown from job interviews or going outside. what can you do right now? how do you feel about yourself?

I have a job and I can go outside a bit but I feel weird, I haven't had a friend in 15 years and I don't do anything. I feel ashamed and I don't feel like I can meet anyone because of how my life is.
