Basically everything about this current time period. Let's not forget Kier Starmer's premiership.

Yeah, they're mostly harmless and are easily bribed with dog treats.

I was disappointed with my performance at the lake. I used to be an alright swimmer, but apparently not so much anymore. I even slipped getting into the water and skinned my elbow. I guess i should get a gym membership or something so i can practice, if it really bothers me, but i know i won't. At least it was better than last year.

I'm just feeling like a grown up I suppose. Lots of things have happened, I might be able to do some writeups if I don't forget too much before recovering from the haze of the last few days. But the important thing is that I'm feeling beloved or at least appreciated by the people around me.

>>84941701
We talk the talk but rarely act on it. Well speaking for myself anyway. Also when we do it we're at least conscious of what we're doing. Nobody's cutting themselves saying it's cool and normal. If you say you're worried about loud music hurting your ears you just get suspicion and a fluoride stare. It's like they're unaware and activates a kind of a fear response in me, like watching children play in nuclear waste. It's not the same as what is traditionally perceived as self harming behaviour. These people are involved in suicidal activities at least once a week and don't know any different. But the main thing that gets me is how they're able to keep it up. I guess I just don't have the constitution.

No one you know. Mine are different. It's mostly a matter of taste, ingrident quality, and patience. There really isn't much skill to it at all. Even so, it wasn't too easy for me. I would be less proud of the product if it wasn't for the fact i was on a deadline. Still, it would have been the best damn red beans and rice any of you had ever had.
>>84941674
Generally they do, and that's how they express it.
>I guess I just don't have the constitution
They don't either, really, that's why they do it. It difference is mostly awareness, but also habit to an extent.
>>
>>84941906
>Is that something new for you?
Yes, very much so. There's always been a level of tension in my relationships with other people. I've always felt unappreciated and like a third wheel in any situation other than forced one-on-one contact. Always a second choice to someone they'd much rather be hanging out with. It's good to feel useful and have a character I can play that isn't just a few cheap tricks and a facade. I've been feeling pretty valid lately, at least in certain situations and places anyway. Like I always say, I'm still a worthless NEET on my days off. But I feel like I'm approaching the status of a human being with a right to exist.
>>
>>84941915
They have a lot more constitution than I do, these 60 something year old men I was being dragged around by we're all zipping around for 14+ hours and reminiscing about how they'd usually stay up even longer. And these places are all packed so the attrition rate can't be too terrible. Mammy says I'm right in my assessment of just being a snowflake. also did someone say Pokemon?

What causes femoids to not give a fuck about sports, until their team is playing (town, countries, doesn't matter)?
It's something I've noticed and it's really fascinating how 'patriotic' they all become as soon as something like the world cup happens, even the ones that don't actually give a fuck about any of it, they just see their flag and go awooga (if they win)

>>84942677
Is it constituion, or habituation? It's more psychological than physiological, is my point. You said yourself they're old men, so their physical constitution is probably worse than yours, it just seems greater because of the much larger difference in psychological configuration. That's my theory, anyway.
>reminiscing about how they'd usually stay up even longer
Exaggeration, more likely than not, and tint from the shadow of one grand event. Not to mention the effects of age.

>What is something from the last month you are proud of?
Having developed and come far in refining many skills I'm learning in my college course and clinicals since the beginning of the year. In January, I could barely speak to patients because I kept forgetting the questions to ask before performing the exam. Now, I'm sometimes told to hurry up because I get chatty with some of them sometimes.

>(Optional) Is there anything you're not proud of in the same period of time?
The way I can't act normal when my stress levels hit 100% and I start getting sort of manic and weird.

>(Optional) Are you already feeling nostalgic for anything that isn't over?
No.

>(Optional) Are you comfortable around INFJs?
I've only known one confirmed. I had one friend for 21 years who I had to cut off communications with because he gives up anything he tries after the littlest bit of difficulty, nothing ever gets better, and he complains about life and wanting to an hero. I can't fucking stand when people are like that, I'm so done.

>Secret: Have you seen a lovely sunset or sunrise recently?
Probably, but I rarely remember things like that. I might look up from whatever I'm reading outside and think, "oh, the sky looks nice right now", then back to reading.

This last episode of the X-Files was pretty good. Going in, i didn't think i'd like it. The same is true for the series as a whole, but while watching it i realized that was because i had been tricked by the reaction to it. There's no telling, really, between a legitimate line of succession and the wiles of a strong usurper, without word from your friends at court, and that cousin at Horse Guards. I say that, but i'm normally pretty good at sussing things out, but in this case i was deceived by how long running the show was. Seems it starts to turn against itself after a point.

Goodnight Moon did two X-files themed vidoes a while back. The second one was good enough that i got it in my head to watch the show. The first time i tuned in it was to some episode from season 5, which sucked and put me off the show for a while, but not forever. Next time i was smart enough to watch from the start, and was pleasently surprised. This most recent episode i had earlier skipped, because i was watching with my grandmother and i knew she wouldn't like it. I was going to skip it myself, just because i expected it to be dull, but when i sat down the episode happened to be up on the live rotation, so i took that as a sign and watched it. For some reason, i wasn't served any ads for that episode. I kept getting poised to press mute, only to have it fade from black right back into the show. Now that was really a pleasent surprise. Season 2, Episode 14, for those wondering. I have half a mind to talk about the show further, in more detail, but though i can't help by analyze my goyslop, verbalizing that analysis is beneath me: I'm no Psychiatrist, and i'm not the Last of anything.

It truly feels like there is nothing good in life. I don't believe I have had any rewards for my long term persistence, not that I deserve any, but that I am either hunting in the wrong spot or I should forget about food altogether.
