How the hell do people expect you to control anger when they can't control fear, joy, sadness, shame, contempt or disgust?
>>84967034I usually get angry to the point where I don't mind fighting. Like you don't care to exchange some punishment on a person. I just mostly complain if I am upset about life in general.
Because women have decided that anger is toxic maculinity and a big no no. They are still allowed to get angry themselves though.
>>84967034You can control emotions, and part of the business of raising a child is teaching it to control its emotions. This is what separates humans from animals. Like, "hungry" is a state of the consciousness. Modern psychologists would call it a hormonal response. But in a rational animal it's not a compulsion to eat, it's not what determines if you are going to eat five boxes of poptarts. You would not be able to function at all as a human in human society if you were completely subject to your emotions. The most important emotion to know how to control is anger, because regardless of how fair or unfair it is, an HR Karen might decide to fuck your life up because she pissed you off. Its opposite is patience. Where you would normally be incensed, see it as an opportunity to exercise patience.
