>Getting out of bed to go workout sucks and I procrastinate at all costs

>whenever I actually do it and sweat hard for an hour plus I feel amazing

You have ADHD also I struggle with executive dysfunction but what has helped me and might help you is every morning when you wake up cross out a day on a calendar and then have a list under of what you need to do that day and then check off the list as it goes make it start with something simple like brushing your teeth and then make it go up in difficulty like taking a shower maybe a chore after that and that after that the gym going somewhere doing something

SAME.
One time in my life I got buff by accident, construction job.
One time I got buff because I was self actualized - first middle class job out if college.
Then some bad things happened.
I have only ever worked out since as a stress response, cope for stress.
Which is way better than alcohol or drugs but still a response to stress, not self actualization.
I am back at your state, Anon.
I even bought an Olympic barbell squat rack and its in my basement and hardly gets used.
By accident with work, and the one time I had enough money it literally changed my life, essentially my caste going from $9/hr to $37 was huge for me.
Had enough money to get professional lifting classes.
But then some bad mental stuff happened.
Going to lurk here for answers.

Does nkt work for me.
No amount of self help books or progress journals or lists or whiteboards or diet or meds or ideas has helped so far.

Checked as well.
I hope everyone will make it.

You are completely normal. Most people experience this. That's why it's common advice to put your gym clothes out the day before. Your brain will try to negotiate with you, you have to say fuck that get to caffeine as fast as possible wash your face and go workout. I still do this, today I lost that battle (I usually workout with Gymnastic rings at 4AM) but went to the gym when I woke up hours later because I know I love working out and am tired of not having the body I want.
