Well I'm in colorado where if you're poor they'll give you money to take programs for jobs needed by the state (firefighter, EMT, CNA) and talked to an academic advisor and pretty much took an entire EMT course for free and started working as an EMT for a local hospital. The hospital has a program where they'll pay for your school if you sign a contract with them saying you'll work for them for a certain amount of time so I took nursing school classes and worked as an EMT which made nursing school really easy but tough because EMT hours are rough but i actually became friends with a lot of the people i worked with so now I have a solid friend group for the first time in like 15 years. Actually met my girlfriend while in school. Now I have a bachelors in nursing that I got for a free and make over 100k a year and I'm working on going to medical school once again paid for by the hospital. A lot of states have programs like this especially blue states. Honestly though the EMT course wasn't that expensive without help so I would have done it anyways. Also when I say lie I mean never tell anyone you were a NEET, they'll look down on you and it's just pointless to share so much with normies. Seriously, just go into anything medical related, they don't care about work history or anything, hospitals are pretty much desperate for anything they can get.

Just signed up on their website, had to wait a bit to get accepted but took like maybe 5 days for all their school shit to activate and then on the student hub I made an new student appointment with an academic advisor. Im an engineer, going into a masters program and the only job i managed to land was a contract to develop an app. The app itself was ez but the terms on the contract did not specify that i needed to be published to the appstore, so i went with that and got sued.

finally made a friend who became my best friend and he died. alone again. dropped out of high school after that.

mom kicked me out at 18. dad picked me up and i lived here with him and my grandparents.

some time passes, i still have no desire to do anything but sit in my room.

grandparents get older, get sick and they die too. i was here taking care of them the whole time, seeing them suffer. seeing my 80 year old grandpa get dementia go from someone i respected and loved into something less conscious than a toddler. then grandma gets COPD from smoking and it slowly destroys her to the point she cant even walk to the bathroom without feeling like she's suffocating to death.
