I live in a double wide (kinda nice looking trailer). Anyone else? They're genuinely underrated.

I'll be moving to one next year. Selling my suburban McMansion and buying one on some acreage for cash. Goodbye mortgage, hello just not giving a fuck after I pay the $1000 per year in property taxes.

I've actually been thinking about going to the trailer life. I live in an apartment and it's nearly 3k a month at this point. Not really trying to impress anyone anymore so been thinking about buying a little land and just putting a trailer on it and paying the money to get utilities to it.

Is it on your own land or in a trailer park? From what I always hear predatory trailer parks are the real issue, and they're not as mobile as "mobile home" suggests. That and they deteriorate fast compared to a regular house.
