Is it childish to expect a relationship in which both you truly love each other and have no doubt about it? Because I've been told it is. And when I look around, it does seem like most married couples only tolerate each other. Even when there is love, it's far from what I would consider ideal. There's no desire, attraction, or appreciation for the other person.

Mmm no. I do think it's childish to believe love is effortless however. There's a give and take on both sides.

i think, specifically, married people stop feeling jealous towards each other. having something the other person does not have is the essence of desire. we need to "love" the other person to reset balance to that feeling of inadequacy, kinda like climbing on top of a mountain and planting your flag on it. we need to confront them about it. start a fight with them about it. really we're just scared we're going to lose the other person if we can't even up the score, but not just that, we will become a pathetic and embarrassing loser as a whole if we can't restore balance and keep this cocky arrogant jerk from making a fool out of us!! we have to do something drastic or i'll go back to being the loser i tried and worked so hard to not be anymore!! I won't go back!! I won't!!!

now you're addicted.

Yes, it is neither us men and foids evolved for that shit, we men are polygamous creatures, a single bitch is unable to please us, and women sexuality is about fucking the alpha male, the rest is Hollywood bs. During civilization and monogamy, that shit was done by women fathers looking for a suitable husband, it doesnt happen naturally.

no, that's what a relationship should be
normies like to make it sound like this is impossible to find

That's because actual love that can stay despite all else is rare

People confuse infatuation with love. You really think people are married until they die have a perfect unwavering love for each other? You're two separate humans coming together to witness eachother, you. WILL have hiccups, however, it's because you love each other that you BOTH decide to work through those things. If one person starts putting in less investment into the LOVE then the the LOVE is on the decline to dissolving. Love requires both people to show up in the ways that made them fall in love to begin with.

Depends on the circumstance. For me she was decided and didn't fall out of love with me due to anything actually wrong between us

Yes it is
It reduces the complexity of life to an inexistent level of simplicity.
Even if you had it real instead of, say, a chatbot, you would get bored of it, like you get bored of your pet after a while.
