Is it childish to expect a relationship in which both you truly love each other and have no doubt about it? Because I've been told it is. And when I look around, it does seem like most married couples only tolerate each other. Even when there is love, it's far from what I would consider ideal. There's no desire, attraction, or appreciation for the other person.
Mmm no. I do think it's childish to believe love is effortless however. There's a give and take on both sides.
