Why do stupid people (especially women) blindly trust psychiatry? You can point to the fact that they've been taking anti depressants for a decade and are out of shape, never leave their house never exercise they're always jumpy and annoyed and basically do nothing but drink alcohol every night, and they're like "U DONT KNOW WHAT UR TALKING BOUT THE PILLS HELP ME U DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT SCIENCE!" You can point to the fact that, had they lived 50 years ago and their doctors recommended they get a lobotomy they would have accepted it, because "well it's a doctor, they know.." How do you deal with people like these?

I think what helps is that almost nobody in charge dares to criticize psychiatrists. Why? Because psychiatrists just work for the system. They do what they're told. Sissify white men. Drug up women. Discourage psychoanalysis because we're rather workers didn't think for themselves. Give them quick fixes (meds) so that they can quickly join the workforce again. Which is also good for big pharma investors. It's a win-win.
