Sometimes I get too wrapped up in other people's problems, though, and it stresses me out when I can't help them. Letting them talk, letting them know they'll be okay, offering a different perspective, or helping them figure things out.

I used to want to write stories, so turning over and musing on human dramas once qualified as escapism for me. If people are telling me their stories, I get the opportunity to learn about them and probe. Still a general interest of mine, other people and their stories.
