This is a really abstract and hard to describe feeling but I feel over the years internet cultural has leaked so much into the real world that I no longer feel the illusion that I can become a normie again. I'm stuck in the middle between internet cretin and functioning member of society, and I fear there may be nothing to gain by going outside and talking to people anymore.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid but "normal people" don't function like the normal people I saw growing up in movies and when I spoke to adults. Everyone is a total dickwad.
>>
i know what you mean but i think normie culture is too vast for that to 100 percent transform

Moreso the subsection that I could realistically integrate to is basically unrecognizeable. People my age care about weird autistic niches or only sex.

It's called Hiraeth

calm your tits lain lol

Your fears are correct. When I go on the bus all I see are emo black girls, Markus Brownlee-types, autistic faggots, drug-addicted schizos, and normal old people from a time when things were better complaining about how the world has changed with other normal old people. On the roads I see expensive cars driven by barely-clothed women, and poorfag cars driven by adult men suffering in silence. In conversation I can smell the air of malevolence emanating out of people's mouths.
That's just my experience though.

ah well I guess youre chad now

It's very bleak but this are the examples I was referring to. It's just sad. I've met a few "real" people who've been there to hear me when times are rough and part of me wants to prioritize them and give them the best quality time I can provide as a friend.

Although Marques Brownlee used to be pretty cool when I watched him like half a decade ago. I think tech has rapidly degraded to a point where it's no longer cool or niche to know about computers, but that's a separate matter lol.

I hate that show. I'm just a confused young man who speaks like a robot.
>>

Half a decade is a funny expression considering 2021 isn't much different from 2026. Same economy, same state of the world, same tech, etc.

>Is anybody scared there's no real world to go back to?
I'm afraid so
>This is a really abstract and hard to describe feeling
No it's not. Yes I feel that way.
>I feel over the years internet cultural has leaked so much into the real world that I no longer feel the illusion that I can become a normie again.
Normies don't reallt exist anymore, if that's what you mean. Things haven't been the same since Covid.
>I'm stuck in the middle between internet cretin and functioning member of society,
Many such cases.
>I fear there may be nothing to gain by going outside and talking to people anymore.
Why fear it? That's just the way it is, and it's caused in part by other people with the exact same mindset. The coof changed how we interact with the world as a society. We can't go back.
>Maybe I'm just being paranoid but "normal people" don't function like the normal people I saw growing up in movies and when I spoke to adults. Everyone is a total dickwad.
Yeah. Double wammy of adults just being like kids and the world being so wildly different from the near past technologically and socially. Really shows you that everything was just fake and gay and now it's even more.

Okay. More like 2018 in that specific example. My brain can't process our world has been stagnant for like 6 and a half fucking years.

I remember when I was little, to me being 30 years old meant dressing up in a suit and tie, having a briefcase, coming home to a wife and kids. While I'm 23 right now, I have a few acquaintances that are in their 30s or pushing 30, and while these are good guys they act like teenagers. If I dwell on it too much it becomes genuinely horrific to me.

I relate to this 100%, it's too depressing to contemplate.

I miss when men wore suits also. They are stylish and functional.

>If only people were brainwashed by TV instead of Internet like me back in the day.

The real world is the Eternal Now, the present moment in which all moments have occurred. There is no past except what is echoed in the present. Many who inhabit this Now are getting stuck in recursive loops where these echoes are being overwritten over and over via media, causing the Now to become increasingly degraded, altered and drained of creative power. This is what is causing the suffocating social malfunctions you describe.

The only relief is to completely unplug, not just from the media, but from any emotional response to the (absolute) state of the world. Once we are sufficiently detached, we can begin to access the full creative power of the Now again. When we lose all expectations and emotions about life (besides acceptance and love) we free ourselves from the frustration and agony of suffering over things we can't control. Nonreactive calm disarms people and allows you to create new terms for reality.

Brother I'm old enough to have lived life before phones and the internet and every fucking day I live is more depressing than the last. People are dumber, more shy about sex, more stupid about politics and religion and its NEVER getting better. Technology has made everyone a DUMB motherfucker and the people that control everything love it, they want more of it, so thats why AI will be in everything.
>>
>>85091219
The white people in the 80s would cum in their overstarched pants if they knew the shit people were pulling off today with the internet
>>

Only America is stagnating like this. Shithole, 3rd world country now, and Frogposters are all still calling it based.
