>>85096984honestly in that case I would just do your best to decouple from the shame of it and self-identify with it as little as you can. you can be aware of and internally honest about it without it becoming part of how you define yourself. fetishes usually just get worse the more people repress them, and shame usually just makes them grow. as long as you don't feel you're at risk of actually acting on it I think the best thing you can do is accept it and try to find an outlet that doesn't harm anyone, even if it's shota or whatever. I'd only really be concerned if you think you'd really be at risk of actually doing something or seeking out material that involves real abuse. I think having a fetish or abstract impulse is worlds away from actually being at risk of acting on this stuff. >>85096979lol once again weed serves a portal for demonic possession. many such cases. don't worry everyone's got em, one of the best things you can do is to view this impulse as a "thing" that exists within you and look it in the face as such. modern people misunderstand sometimes what ancient people meant by "demons" but it's basically just this, some sort of complex or uncontrollable emotion/impulse that feels external to one's core personality yet overrides their best interest. even from a purely secular perspective this is literally what people meant by "demons" and "possession" - the way you deal with them is you detach and confront them. where most people make mistakes is they try to control them outright or they think shame is enough to suppress them, they don't really work like that and they feed off any negativity associated with them. all you really need to do is look at them clearly and get to know them. next time this wells up in you instead of acting on it or pushing it away, just sit with it and really focus on it, once again as if it's a "visitor" that exists external to you and comes by from time to time. the more you do this, the less power it'll have over you, and then you can begin to actually negotiate with it and figure out ways to maybe put it to some use that won't get you locked up in jail. maybe art or some sort of other expression. hope this helps.
