>after you die, if you were a decent enough person you get everything you could ever want for all eternity doesn't the idea of heaven sound a little... too good to be true?
>>85096904Yes it sounds like a scam because it is a scam
>>85096904When I die I wake up on prison planet, learned a couple lifes ago im serving about 300 consecutive life sentences and part of the punishment is weekly vr sims of being a lower class wage slave
>>85096952being white sounds like so much fun.
>>85096904Why do you need to believe in a heaven to be a "good" person? Is the act of kindness and love the reward itself?
>>85097069the reward is an inversion of the suffering it took to make you even want it at all in the first place. you're overthinking it because your overly neurotic .
>>85096904heaven for me is... hanging out with my cat in california. i can do that for an eternity. and i think i will.
>>85097097I think not. I don't need a heaven to be kind or to love others. This world will break the pure hearted without any care, as reality has no feelings. My morals often result in heartache or pain, and yet, I still recall the moments, that others reached out to me, small acts of kindness, compassion, love. To be able to return to the world what those brave people extended to me is a privilege. I'm not a saint, nor do I want to be. I don't even consider myself religious, but I do know that you don't need to believe in some ultimate reward to try to do the right thing.
