got diagnosed with glaucoma and now I don't want to work ever again, is this wrong? For reference, I'm 30 years old. A wage slave. I made a joke about getting on disability to my boomer parents now that I am technically going blind, and they both shamed me and said I NEED to work.My vision is still mostly fine, and if I take my prescription eye drops, I shouldn't go blind, but I learned I still can qualify for disability. Is it wrong to want to be a neet and get gibs?I live in nigger hell (Chicago) but I plan on using the money I have saved up now to buy a cheap, low maintenance rural home. What would you do?

>>85102304Near-future is super uncertain with robots and AI taking everyone's job. Take the out, your parents are brain-dead fossils. You can still work on something in your backyard or on your PC, at home. Become the next Tolkien or some shit, if you feel like taking up a challenge. But maximize your survival chances.
