But why? I never understood the appeal of music. Does anyone have any good music recommendations that will make me change my opinion on the medium? And I don't want some elitist crap, I mean stuff that either makes me think or makes me feel something.

Music recommendations never really worked for me. My taste changes a lot even between seasons of the year. Sometimes I just listen to the Deus Ex (2000) soundtrack while walking around
