How am I losing almost 6 pounds a week? Am I losing muscle? I get 100-150 grams of protein a day and no these aren't noob gaines as I started losing weight in May. Wtf????

During weight loss, especially for someone of your weight, weight loss is fast and dramatic at first.

You will see large fluctuations in water weight and fat loss. To preserve lean body mass while at a deficit, get most of your calories from protein. Keep it up, don't get discouraged once your weight loss starts to plateau, that just means you're getting closer and closer to your bodies equilibrium

You're very large. Your BMR is like 2500 a day. More if you're taller than average. That's how much you burn doing absolutely nothing but running your organs. That alone is 5 pounds worth of fat a week. You are not losing muscle. You're just huge and it costs a lot of energy to keep alive.

Unless you're an elite tier powerlifter I doubt you have any real muscle to lose at 330lbs.
And you don't need 100+ grams of protein a day either, you're over complicating things.

this is broscience. Generally yes, it's a fine rule to follow, simply because it's better to get more protein than too little. But in reality it's closer to .25-.5 grams per lb of lean muscle mass.
