We are all domesticated humans. Not even 1% of us could just waltz back into nature and survive. That doesn't mean we should just quietly accept the conditions we all suffer through in this bizarre world without complaint.
It's not really possible for an individual to go back. The ecosystem is fucked badly enough in much of the world that hunter-gatherer shit is out. Poaching is closely watched anyway. Farming will likely fail without equipment and is sure to be discovered if you do it at any significant scale. You can't really build anything without getting caught, and getting firewood in the amounts you need to survive winter is extremely noticeable and will get cracked down on.Even Ted K bought groceries from stores. Premodern living in the modern world is simply not allowed or possible, except maybe if you have tons of money laying around to buy land and shit with.
