Hello Orthodox anon, I recognize that many protestant churches (even the majority) have liberalized to the most of parody, and I often want to commend the adherents of catholicism and orthodoxy for their strong stances against abominations such as abortion, as well as their ties to European traditions, which my heart longs after as a white person.
However, having read the bible, their doctrine is just incompatible with the word of God. I would need to cause myself to reject it, and instead cling to writings of the church fathers or mere human tradition, which is entirely worthless and vanity and rebuked even in the Gospels. (Matthew 15:9)

Simple contradictions with the bible, like having the office of pope being inherited when Christ our Lord, who is alive forevermore is called the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), Calling priests "father" (Matthew 23:9), of having images of worship (Deuteronomy 4:12-19) and depicting Christ with long hair (1 Corinthians 11:15) one could excuse and go along their weak, half-hearted proofs, favouring the stained glass windows, beautiful choirs, and history over truth.

When it comes to their stance of salvation however, I cannot abide it. This is beyond the scope of some cultural quirks, it flies in the face of the entire new testament:

Just limiting it to ones I can type out in ten seconds.
Salvation cannot be lost, nor can it be earned through works. Until this contradiction with the bible changes (that salvation can be earned though keeping from sin, chanting "hail mary", being baptized) there will be no salvation within the catholic or orthodox church, and all those adherents of the two whom I admired for their stances against the ills in our society are doomed to hell.
Therefore I hate the catholic and orthodox church.

As for salvation, If you put your faith in Jesus Christ, at that moment onwards you are born again and going to heaven, and there's nothing you can do to lose your salvation, any good deed a Christian does is out of love and gratitude towards God, or believing that He will reward them for doing good, in this life, or in the next. If you weren't miserable, I doubt you'd bother writing something like this, or describing your ill wishes towards my family. I hope you get saved and your life improves to be far better than mine ever will.
