None of the things those people did and none of the ideals they lived for feel like they have any meaning in the modern world. And if you do happen to think there is something to be done, it is unlikely you are capable of doing it. So: sloth. Because there's nothing better for you to do and nothing for you to care about, besides killing yourself to waste less of the world's resources.

Been struggling a lot with sloth this last month. Bought a laptop and now pretty much all I do after work is get on 4chan and play OSRS. Trying to get back into my morning and evening prayer routine and reading scripture.

Then tighten the limit, so instead of 5 hours on the internet you'd do 4 hours and 55 minutes. >>85141572I find I reflect first by taking my time as I read. Soak in every word. Compare across translations and research specific words in their original languages. It means I work slowly but it demands diligence, its hard to slack off given the task I've committed to. I tend to read 1-3 verses that way in the morning while I sip my coffee. Then I'll send the verse(s) and a short summary to my friends chat and we'll have a discussion about what they read and what we glean from each other's.Usually takes half an hour or so.The truly personal reflection lies in prayer. Before I lay down to sleep, I get on my knees, bow my head and spend a few minutes talking about the day, what I read that morning and confessing my sins. Then I lay down to go to sleep.
